Sure, the facilities and site are amazing, but there’s also a Water Park and pool for guests to enjoy. So, what should you pack for the waterpark and pool so you’re ready to jump in the water?
What to Pack for the Waterpark and Pool
There’s of course the obvious like:
- Towels, swim gear and flip-flops.
- Sunglasses, dry clothes, wet/dry bags and hats are important too.
- So is a broad-spectrum sunscreen if you’re outside.
- Any necessary medications should be brought along.
These are the sensible basics for everyone, but let’s think outside the box a little and focus on the more fun and non-traditional stuff you may not think of to pack for the waterpark and pool.
- Bring water! We’re not trying to be funny here, but just because you’re surrounded by water it doesn’t mean you can drink it. If it’s a really hot day, you’ll need it much more than you think.
- Sealable plastic bags are great for keeping water away from your phone and other electronic devices. This can truly be lifesaving if you have kids tagging along who may not yet know that electronic devices and water do not make a good combination.
- If you are able to bring food and drinks into the park area, consider a soft cooler. These are safer options when children are around as, even though they shouldn’t be, if they are running around, a hard cooler makes for a tripping hazard.
- Goggles are a great idea for children. If they have sensitive eyes or poor eyesight, goggles are important to bring along. Also, they may just be really inquisitive and want to see everything underwater. Either way, kids will get a lot of enjoyment out of goggles. Similarly, consider bringing earplugs if they have sensitive ears.
